Total cell lysates (15 µg total protein) from HeLa, A549, HEL and Raw264.7 cells were resolved by 4-12% Bis-Tris gel electrophoresis, transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane, and probed with 1.0 µg/mL (1:500 dilution) of Purified anti-TCP-1β Antibody, clone F39P7F11, overnight at 4°C. Proteins were visualized by chemiluminescence detection using HRP goat anti-mouse IgG Antibody (Cat. No. 405306) at a 1:3000 dilution. Direct-Blot™ HRP anti-GAPDH Antibody (Cat. No. 607904) was used as a loading control at a 1:50000 dilution (lower). Lane M: Molecular Weight marker. -
HepG2 cell extracts were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with purified monoclonal TCP-1β antibody (clone F39P7F11). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse-IgG secondary conjugated to HRP and chemiluminescence detection.

TCP-1β (Chaperonin containing T complex polypeptide 1, subunit 2) belongs to the TCP-1 chaperonin family, predicted molecular weight 57 kD. Chaperonin-containing TCP-1 is a large multisubunit complex of 800-900 kD, a protein complex considered to be the cytosolic homologue of mitochondrial HSP60. TCP-1β has been shown to interact with β-actin, 14-3-3, SUMO4, TCP-1α, β-Tubulin, α-Tubulin and CCT8. In vitro, TCP-1βmediates the ATP-dependent folding of tubulin, actin, and α-transducin. This protein is also essential for cyclin E maturation and accumulation.Clone F39P7F11has been shown to be useful for western blotting and immunohistochemistry of human, mouse, rat and Frog TCP-1β.
