IHC staining of purified anti-BG-2 antibody (clone T36) on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human kidney tumor tissue. The tissue was incubated with a 1:40 dilution of the primary antibody for 20 minutes at room temperature. BioLegend's Ultra-Streptavidin (USA) HRP Detection Kit (Multi-Species, DAB, Cat. No. 929901) was used for detection followed by hematoxylin counterstaining, according to the protocol provided. The image was captured with a 40X objective.

Description

BG-2 is also known as blood group related antigen BG-2. Blood group related antigens include A, B, H, Lewis A, Lewis B, Lewis X, Lewis Y, and precursor type 1 chain group of antigens. These are a group of mucin-type carbohydrate determinants found on erythrocytes, a subset of epithelial cells, and in secretions.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemical staining. For immunohistochemistry, a dilution of 1:40 is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
